CalSPRA is eager to welcome all of our NSPRA brothers and and sisters to San Francisco this year! We've planned an exciting night out on the town suitable for families, chapter events, and those who want to stay out late to explore the night life.
The Tuesday night social event literally begins on the 'streets of San Francisco' with a guided trolley bus tour through the city. This is a great family friendly activity and, at just $15 a ticket, a great way for the everyone to see the sights and sounds of San Francisco.
The trolley tour will return you near to the hotel, where you'll have a choice of a night on your own or join the NSPRA after party at SLIDE. Back in the prohibition era, 430 Mason Street was called The Cable Car Theatre, below which was Cafe Dans. In actuality, Cafe Dans was not a restaurant, but a speakeasy. Only a savvy few could gain access by pushing a secret wall that led to a playground slide taking you below street level where one could indulge in games of chance and bootleg spirits. In an era of secret codes and handshakes, the speakeasy was a hidden subculture of nightlife.
Tuesday night, SLIDE belongs to NSPRA members for an exclusive night of fun that only school PR professionals could have. You will within a very short walking distance to the hotel.
Catch the tour and SLIDE party for just $50 or if the tour isn't for you a ticket to slides is just $40.
Please note that SLIDE guests must be age 21 or older.
